My favorite group is Linkin Park. They're just awesome.

Favorite individual singer is currently Lady Gaga. :D

I used to be a huge fan of Mariah Carey but her more recent albums haven't been very good IMO.

My fav band is Tanzwut

AFI still hold the title of being my favourite band, but their newer stuff has been ... disappointing. Although, Crash Love has slowly grown on me.

There are alot of idividual artists that I like that are part of groups I mentioned above. Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and Method Man are in The Wu-Tang Clan. Mos Def and Talib Kweli are in Blackstar, and MF DOOM and Madlib are in Madvillain.

one of my #1 fav bands (one of the only I love ALL the music by) is Nightmare (a Jap. band they did the first opening and ending to Death Note X3) :)

People ask me what I listen to a lot and my response as of the last couple years has been "music." People don't like this answer because they're looking for a specific type of music but I like all sorts so it's hard for me to try and narrow it down to one specific genre. What I can say I'm not fond of is rap and polka but(at least with rap) there are some exceptions. So anyways, my list:

The Delgados- my favorite band and VERY few people here in the states know who they are. Unfortunately for me, they broke up a few years ago.
Foo Fighters- super pop/rock that I can listen to for weeks if I had to. I don't think there's a single song on any of their albums that I skip when ever it comes up on my play list
Muse- I've always liked Muse but never really got into them(if that makes sense) until I heard Starlight. Quite possibly my favorite song.
Chevelle- Not a very popular band on the west coast of the states but they were pretty popular back in the midwest when I lived there. I still like them.
Breaking Benjamin- like Chevelle they aren't very popular here on the west coast but were all the rage when I lived in Wisconsin.
The Fratellis- really fun indie rock music from a British band my friend introduced me to.
Modest Mouse- Float On pulled me in and I've liked them ever since.
Daft Punk- One More Time was my favorite song all through middle school and I still enjoy listening to them. The Discovery album is pretty amazing.
ColdPlay- just great music, very easy to listen to and enjoy.

of course there's also The Beatles, Queen, and a number of other classic bands that I love as well, but....do I really need to let people know I like them? I'll add others when/if I remember or as they come up on my playlist.

I've recently really come to like Rise Against.

So, I discovered recently that Julian Casablancas(lead singer of The Strokes) put out a solo album back in '09. I've been listening to a lot of the songs from it as they come up on my last.fm playlist and I must say, I've yet to not love any of them. The more I hear his solo stuff the more I really like it. Putting him on my favorites as of now.
