Appearance: Hair: straight, long, and red, she keeps it in a braid most of the time. Eyes: a pale blue that looks violet in certain lighting situations. Build: slender with well-toned muscles. Height: 5’5”

Order versus Chaos: Neutral.

Morality: Altruistic

Bio: In her human lifetime, Phoenix was a brash teenager, known primarily for her sharp wit and blunt manner of speaking, and for often recklessly endangering herself for the sake of helping someone else out. Trained in the martial arts her whole life, her philosophy was always that the strong should be a shield for the weak so that they had a chance to grow strong themselves. She detested bullies and anyone who picked on someone who couldn’t fight back. It was this philosophy that ended up getting her killed; some thugs were picking on a little kid and she tried to stop them, not realizing they had guns. Next thing she knew, she found herself in the Rukongai, where almost immediately she was recruited into the Shinigami Academy. Now she hopes to continue living by her philosophy as a Shinigami by protecting souls from Hollows.

In her first major battle as a Shinigami, Phoenix first fought a hollow, and then an Espada. They did not win, but she did not die a second time, nor did any of her teammates die, so she considers it somewhat of a success.

Unfortunately, the battle did not go without some consequences. Shortly thereafter, Phoenix started having nightmares. It appears that she has developed an inner hollow. So far she has been able to control it, but naturally she worries that she won't be able to in the future.
