You know one shouldn’t have to cross their fingers before watching an episode, praying not to be disappointed. Overall, it was a good episode with the VC joining the fight now. Hollow Ichigo has some control and is after the big bad (too lazy to look up his name for spelling) but he looks too powerful even for him and his friends to handle when they arrive on scene to help. There are too many battles going on and too little time in one episode to cover them all.
I spotted Yoruichi as she dodged through a series of explosions and observing the battlefield noting that their side is fighting with pride, fighting one on one. Meanwhile, she sees the Reigai’s are not, just attacking any and all targets of opportunity. She realizes that they have to change tactics to win. Then a Reigai Shusui appears beside her ready to attack and who comes to her rescue, if you guess Sui-Feng then you are WRONG. Byakuya of all people is the one who blocks the attack aimed for her. You would figure that Sui-Feng (where the hell is she?), the bodyguard for life would be watching her back but no, it has to be Byakuya for some dumbass reason. Anyway, Shusui says something (can’t remember) and Byakuya eyes widen as his back explodes in flying blood as if something ran him through… Uh… Good job there Byakuya. You not only saved Yoruichi but Sui-Feng too. Good job!
Two Three episodes left... Thank goodness!
