| I'm late in the game in watching Bleach but I have to ask how this thing about Sui Feng feelings towards Yoruichi got started after their fight in episode 57. Did it got started by the animators or the fans? Just curious. DT | |

I'm assuming you are referring to the Sui Feng bio posted by RSforsevers not long ago that states things like Through Yoruichi's pure-hearted actions, Soi Fon's heart was stolen by feelings of respect and love.DT

| It's pretty clear that Yoruichi and Sui-Feng are important to each other. The only real debate is whether it's just platonic or if it's romantic. | |

Thanks. I'll look through them at home but I'm sure I read these online too. I'm hoping to find something I missed. - Quote :

Yeah, that's the million dollar question. As it stands, it can go in either direction. I wonder how much control the creator has over the anime like with the interactions between the two women, like with a list of do's and don't's. Thanks DT

As far as I know for certain, the only direct involvement Kubo has had with the anime was during the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc, and that was likely due to the fact that during FKT (which is when it first aired) we were seeing a lot more of the Zanpakutos and he didn't want Studio Perriot contradicting him (like in the Bount Arc). And even that arc isn't canonical. Short of that arc, I don't believe Kubo has ever had a hands on role with the anime. It's pretty much all Studio Perriot. I seem to recall a comment form way back that there were scenes in the anime that he wanted to put in the manga, but unless he releases a list saying which scenes fall into that category, you can't assume anything. Not to mention that he might have just said that to hype the anime and it might not even be true. As for a if he gave Studio Perriot a list of do's and don'ts...the Bount Arc should answer that question with a resounding "No."
