I love it, but hate it, but love it!! From a YuroSoi point, I hate that Soifon dies! But from a writers point, its so simply written that it couldn't be written any better. It doesn't go into details, (as to like why Soi died) but because of it's simplistic nature, it just draws you in!! I call that an instant SUPER FAN!!!!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that this was your first fanfiction. This was very well written and made me sad. Which in case of angst fics is a good thing.

I really think you should consider entering it into the Angst Challenge.

This certainly is an interesting piece.

I appreciate that you left a lot of this to the readers imagination. Character death is a tricky issue. Too little detail and it looses it's effect; too much and it comes off a self-indulgent.

However, I do feel that this fic's greatest strength is also it's weakness. It's minimalistic to the point of almost being abstract. I never really felt like a had a grasp on things. It made for an interesting read from a stylistic point of view, but it was also a bit frustrating that I never really felt like I knew what exactly was going on.

Unless that was what you were going for. If that's the case, then this is spot on and good work.

Either way it's a strong showing for your first fic and I hope to see more.
