| Who here is on Steam? Besides games, it's also a handy way of contacting people. If you have it, you can add me. My Steam name is RomeoBravoDelta. I like to be consistent. If you don't have it, I would recommend downloading it. Steam has great sales on PC games regularly and Team Fortress 2 is now free to play. | |

Seriously, this holiday even is pretty great. I've already gotten 2 free games out of it and we're only on the second day.

| I finally put together a gaming PC. It's not super powerful but it will run most of the recent games. My steam ID is sh4rkp3do
I have already downloaded Steam but I don't know what games to get.

| Well I really only modified the video card, power supply, and case, since I started with a pre-built PC.
This is where it's at now.
CPU: Intel Pentium G645 @ 2.90GHz RAM: 4 GB Video card: AMD Radeon 7850 with 2 GBs of RAM
I primarily upgraded so that I can play FFXIV with a group of friends that are also planning to play it. It passed the benchmark on that with a 9200+ score, so it's going to run that extremely well on max settings. Any other awesome games I can play are a bonus.

That's what I did. At this point, the only original parts in my machine are the case fans, CD-Drive, and Harddrive. I've replaced the motherboard, RAM, CPU, PSU, and GPU. - CaptainYoruichi wrote:

I don't know how much life it will have if you want to keep on the PC route with the new consoles on the horizon though. If anything is going to hold you back, it'll probably be your CPU. 4GHz and a 7970 will get me Ultra on Tomb Raider fine, but not 60FPS at 1920x1080. - CaptainYoruichi wrote:

If you are into shooters, you should see how your rig handles Planetside 2 as well.
