| My brother's playing it and the little bugger won't let me play it unless he's not home. I was gonna play it today but decided against it... I've never been good at that sort of game. But me simply watching it and helping my brother do sneaky kills is about as close to the awesomeness as I'm getting to playing. | |

| I haven't gotten to 100 in anything yet. I'm close with 97 in Sneak, though. I think the next highest is one-handed. | |

| I'm afraid to try and take on Alduin. He was a bit problematic the first time. So that's why I have been doing other stuff in the meantime. XD But I really want to finish the main quest so I can get the civil war crap out of the way too. | |

| I joined the shadow cloaks because the Imperials seemed to be jerky, but damn if the shadow cloaks are as big of jerks!
I am playing as a High Elf Mage. Stuff dies pretty easy, but you don't get the satisfaction of the melee attacks.

| I mostly use my bow in sneak mode, but when I have to fight up close, I dual wield with a sword in one hand and magic in the other. I'm quite partial to fire spells. My favorite shout (besides Unrelenting Force of course) is Fire Breath.
I'm playing as a Khajiit. It's funny because I am also a werewolf.

| I just mastered enchanting, and I made an absolutely beastly daedric sword. 47 normal damage, 69 fire, and 56 frost. | |

| What I like about being a master enchanter for my mage is that I can enchant 4 pieces with fortify any two magic schools and it won't cost me any magika to cast these spells. I use it for conjuring and destruction.
Enchanting seems to be a skill that any class can and should use. I found smithing kinda lame, but I haven't tried a melee character yet. Alchemy had a bit of a downgrade from oblivion, but there are still some useful potions.

| Isn't there a soft level cap at level 50 where you stop getting points for perks or something, though? | |

| Nope you keep getting perk point till you cap at 81. I know cause I exploit capped one of my characters . You actually can get you character up to 81 1/2, but that would be with every skill at 100.
So through the whole game you get 81 perk points to spend. I bet you will get more when they come out with some DLC stuff, but then it would be just perk points as you can not level up skills any higher.

| Ohh dude you don't know how much that makes me happy to know that. I was hoarding my points to use on Smithing so I could make Dragon Armor but now I know I can put points in Enchantments as well. | |

| I started a Nord rouge character the other night.
I am going to have my main skills be
One hand *dual wield* Smithing *heavy armor tree* Only cause that way I can craft deadric weapons and still get dragon scale armor for my light armor spec. Enchanting Gotta get the 2 enchantment perks! Alchemy Make health potions and fortify potions for smiting and enchanting Light Armor Archery Sneak
For me to get what I want in these trees it will cost 78 points. So I will have a few other points to put into something random. I may put them into pickpocketing to get the 100 extra carrying capacity.

| Um... Don't kill me... But, What's so great about Skyrim? Or any of the Elder Scrolls games. I just don't get it. They appear kinda boring. But! I will admit, I have no way to play them and thus can only form an opinion based on commercials. That is why I ask. Is it any good? | |

| You have a pony avatar and are saying how something is stupid and you don't get it.....*face palm* It's more for if you are a fan of RPG or sandbox open world style games. The story is really good and the gameplay is a lot of fun. You can play through a number of different ways with all the ways you can spec your character. The story is also pretty interesting and not just the main story all the side stories like guild quests are lots of fun. A lot of times you will get so side tracked doing side quests that you will forget to do the main quest stuff. also - Spoiler:

| I never said stupid! I said boring.
I do adore sandbox games and RPGs. Sounds a little like Fable.
I guess I could give it a shot. If I ever get a PS3 or 360.
And lastly... SQUEE!!!!! FLUTTERSHY!!!!

| It is a bit more in depth than the Fable games, but if you like those kind of games you will like skyrim.
The only thing that I wasn't a big fan of in skyrim was that now you just buy spells and can not change them. In oblivion they had a spell making alter where you could make some custom epic spells. Still the enchanting can make up for it since you can now enchant 2 enchantments to an item when you master enchanting. You can also enchant X spells cost 25% less magika and if you do that on 4 pieces of armor then you can cast the spells in that school for free.
If you are going to not be a mage I suggest still having enchanting to enchant weapons and armor. Also Smithing to increase your armor and weapons. You can use Alchemy to make potions to fortify your smithing and enchanting skills to make neigh unbeatable armor and weapons with powerful enchantments that can kill most enemies in 1 or 2 hits.

| What I like about Elder Scrolls games is that I have several, several friends playing Skyrim, and I could talk to them all day about the game because everyone's experience is different. | |
