| Finally got around to beating the campaign today. Overall, I though it was pretty good. I've heard some people complain about the length, but I didn't find it too long at all. It definitely doesn't seem like it would be any fun in the higher difficulties, though. Also, I have a few thoughts on the final mission; - Spoiler:
It could have been great. The atmosphere and the setting was perfect. But they made two grave mistakes.
First was the helmet cracking. It was a nice touch, but why did it start now? What about all the other times I got shot?
The second was the fact that it seems to be time-based, not based on your actual survival. The final cut scene triggered after I got grazed by a focus rifle with full shields.

It's not really that much fun, but mostly because the ally AI gets worse and the enemy AI gets better. Emile especially is completely worthless on legendary. It's a nice challenge though. I'm almost done with the campaign solo on legendary. I'll probably never do it again, though. The only reason I even bothered to try was for the Achievement. | |
