| My first prediction - due to the law of girls fighting other girls in shonen, either Unohana or Yoruichi is on the wrong side and they will have to fight each other.
Either that, or Unohana won't fight at all and Kirio Hikifune or Yoruichi will be on the wrong side, and those two will fight each other. | |

While that may be true (even though we saw enough male vs. female fights)
Why do you think they have to fight each other and that someone must be a villain while so many other females who also fought are on the good guys side?
Just curious and confused here thats why I ask.
As prediction: it comes like it has to: Urahara may seem like the winner but Aizen won't have a scratch and will injure him, also Isshin.
Then Ichigo will stand alone for the moment until backup arrives in form of (hopefully) Unohana who has a HoT for everyone or pulls another ace - being the top healer.
I won't say Isshin & Urahara are out of it cause they seem damn strong but havibng those 2 tops against Aizen alone something in favor for Aizen will happen.
Gin will finally continue fighting with Ichigo ~ | |

| The Shonen Laws of Girl Fights: - Spoiler:
1)Girls usually only have decisive wins when they fight other girls. Never guys.
2)If they fight guys, they do (usually) win but not without some cost to themselves and it's never a decisive win.
2a)Girls unable to continue a fight are always rescued by men and never another woman.
Following Rule 1
Orihime vs. Numb Chandelier - Numb Chandelier was a girl hollow.
Yoruichi vs. Soifon - this one is pretty self-explanatory.
Following Rule 2
Yoruichi vs. Yammy - she beat the snot out of Yammy but it was revealed that she hurt herself while doing so.
Soifon vs. Ggio Vega - she was holding back for most of the fight which meant she got beat up a little in the beginning
Rangiku vs. Hakim - she was a little hurt and played dead until she got word from SS that their seals were lifted, and then she kicked his ass
Following Rule 2 and 2a
Rukia vs. Aaroniero Arruruerie - Rukia succeeded in defeating AA, but she almost died in the process. She was saved from death by Zommari by Byakuya's timely appearance.
Nel vs. Nnoitra - Nel was kicking Nnoi's ass until she transformed back into her child form, and was saved from further damage by Kenpachi's timely appearance.
Soifon vs. Barragan - Soifon was aided in the defeat of Barragan by Hachi.
Additionally: - Spoiler:
Bleach really caters to shonen stereotypes with women. Kubo writes the fights as if he's afraid that showing a strong woman will offend his fans.
Most recently, he left Harribel for last (besides WW and Yammy) as if it was important, and then killed her off. Which also conveniently meant that he didn't have to show Hiyori and Lisa fighting, either. Then Mashiro and Hiyori and Soifon all got taken out of the fight, with Aizen claiming that Soifon couldn't hit him because he has more reiatsu.
What else?
1. Both major arcs (SS and HM) have centered around a damsel in distress storyline (Rukia and Orihime, respectively).
2. Nel was a badass. Until she wasn't. And then she, too, had to be saved by men.
3. Yoruichi beat the hell out of Yammy but had to be saved from his cero by Kisuke. The same Goddess of Flash who knocked out an entire squad in seconds, and outran Byakuya while carrying Ichigo (who is larger than her) AND his sword (also about as tall as her) over her shoulder and without having trained in a hundred years, couldn't use that same shunpo to dodge a cero with Orihime (who is the same size as her) in her arms?
That is why I find it highly unlikely that either Unohana or Yoruichi will have an epic fight unless they end up having to fight each other. Going by previous fights with female Shinigami, they are almost never allowed to go all out in fights with males; and most of the important characters that are left are male. | |

| I've always found it funny when we (myself included) complain about shounen.
To my understanding, shounen us analgous to western superhero comics; adolescent male empowerment fantasies. Complaing that the landscape is dominated by monolithic alphamales seems like complaining about the fried chicken at KFC. Yeah, you can get other things there, but the franchise was built on the freid chicken. We're complaing about shounen being shounen.
You say it sarcastically, but having a strong female defeate a male character probably would offend the target audience. A strong female would undermine the psudo-masculinity that the adolescent boys reading the manga have built as they have lived vicariously through Ichigo and the other male leads.
The poor boys are still too young to realize how great titties are.
But back to the topic at hand; I don't think Yoriichi will fight Unohana. And if she did, she would loose. She's already had 2 major wins. | |

| i do wanna see unohana fight though. she disappeared after she escorted ichigo to fkt. the logical explanation is that she's busy healing the injured people, but i really want to see why she's so scary. | |

| Since Papa Kurosaki showed up in FKT, I'm willing to guess that Papa Ishida will show up in Hueco Mundo.  I think about three chapters from now we should go back to HM and find out. | |

| Okay, Orihime's power is that she controls the flow of time in a very limited area, basically. She doesn't heal someone, she just returns them to an earlier state.
Given that her power is time manipulation, couldn't Orihime just "reject" Aizen's transformation? | |

| I'm still betting on Ryuuken Ishida to show up in Hueco Mundo. And maybe we'll go back soon since the Deicide chapters seem to be drawing to a conclusion. But I think it's possible that Orihime and the rest of the nakama will finish off Yammy. | |

| I think a safe prediction to make is that Ichigo is going to go super saiyan again transform again like shounen heroes always do and save the day again like shounen heroes always do even though we just spent several chapters establishing how weak he was in comparason to everyone else again.
But that's to go without saying.
On another note, I've always had a paranoid suspicion that Gin is the next villian. This has not changed with 415.
On yet another note, I bet the next arc is delving into Isshin's past. | |
