YoruSoi in Bleach: The 3rd Phantom

I've posted theses several times in the past, but I figured one more time couldn't hurt, especially since we have new members.

All theses moments come form the Nintendo DS game Bleach: The 3rd Phantom. It's interesting to note that Kubo was actually the cheif writer for this game, being the one responsible for the plot and dialogue.

I've separated the moments into chapters. Fujimaru and Matsuri are the default names for the male and female player characters, respectively. Please note that some of these scenes are only availble if you play as the female.

This isn't a YoruSoi scene, but it though it was a very...enlightening moment none the less.

Pervy Yoruichi:

This is also not a YoruSoi scene. I was just looking for an excuse to post this screen cap. Also, it shows that Sui-Feng is down with the hot springs.

I didn't realize that there was such interaction in that game, or that Kubo had anything to do with it.

He certainly leaves things ambiguous... or is suggestive a better word?

I found some of this game on youtube. I was able to find all of that which is in ch 5, I didn't look too much at the others, at least yet, but I couldn't find that part in ch 20 - all they seemed to have posted was 4 of the guys in a pinkish hot spring...

I picked up The Third Phantom again today after months of not playing it an ran into what could hesitantly be called another YoruSoi moment.

Chapter 23:

I know it's not much of anything, really. For the most part, I'm just posting it here to show you all how kind of bizarre some of the stuff in this game is. I visibly cringed at Yoruichi's "And one cat, don't forget."

I get the feeling that The 3rd Phantom is a dumping ground for all the ideas Kubo couldn't fit into the manga, considering how much it focuses on the peripheral characters (and especially Sui-Feng and Yoruichi) and how it almost completely ignores Ichigo and the gang.

I continue to play The 3rd Phantom, even though I've already beaten the main story, becasue of the carrot on the stick that is more hot spring scenes that lay up the Bleach Tower.

Well, it only took my twenty floors, but I've finally found one (ignoring the one for all you KyroakuUkitake shippers out there) and Yoruichi isn't even in it. Really, I'm just posting this because it gives me an excuse to post a screen cap of Sui-Feng looking like she want's to fucking murder Yachiru.

Here's a things I found not really YoruSoi but still interesting..

Yoruichi's True Form
(this one of when Shiyo finds out of Yoruichi not being a cat)

Yoruichi: You here, Kukaku?

Shiyo: Hello, hello!

Yoruichi: Oh, Shiyo! Would you do me a favor and go get Kukaku?

Shiyo: Um, and who may I say is calling?

Yoruichi: Hm?

Yoruichi: Oh, right. You've never seen me like this before, have you?

Fujimaru: Hi, Yoruichi.

Shiyo: Yoruichi? Isn't that a cat's name?

Fujimaru: the cat is her other persona. This is her true form.

Shiyo: So when you go from Yoruichi the cat to Yoruichi the person, you become truer?

Yoruichi: I had turned myself into a cat. Is that easier to understand?

Shiyo: The cat doesn't turn into you?

Yoruichi: Nope, it's the other way around.

Shiyo: Then that wasn't a regular car talking before?

Yoruichi: Unfortunately no.

Shiyo: I see. So I was fooled all along.

Fujimaru: I was too.

Yoruichi: I think you expect too much of cats.

A Meeting Appointment

Fat Reaper: Yeah?!

Fujimaru: I'd like to meet with Captain Soi Fon, if I may.

Fat Reaper: The Captain isn't here.

Fujimaru: Then can I make an appointment?

Fat Reaper: What a pain. I'll give you a rice cracker if you'll just go home.

Fujimaru: Huh? A rice cracker?

Fat Reaper: Yeah, I'll even give you two.

Fujimaru: No, you see... I was hoping to get an appointment...

Fat Reaper: You want three?

Fujimaru: That's not what I--!

Soi Fon: What's all the commotion, Omaeda?

Fujimaru: Ah!

Omaeda: There's someone here to see you. I'm trying to get rid of 'em. Not taking the hint.

Soi Fon: There's no need to chase this one off.

Omaeda: Hm, that's unusual.

Fujimaru: Are you busy again today?

Soi Fon: It goes without saying. I'll let you have this. Take it.

Fujimaru: What is it?

Soi Fon: My schedule. Come when there's an opening. Goodbye.

Fujimaru: But wait!

Omaeda: The Captain makes the most of every minute.

Fujimaru: She's that busy?

Omaeda: Check out the schedule.

Fujimaru: Wow! There's no time in it for sleeping OR eating!

Omaeda: You can see there isn't even time to "go."

Fujimaru: Whoa!

Soi Fon: Time to go? Go where?

Omaeda: OH, ERN...!

Omaeda: No time to go anywhere that's, uh, not on the schedule! Ha ha...

Soi Fon: Hm.

Fujimaru: (She looked like she was about to kill him.)

Fujimaru: (It's actually amazing he's managed to stay alive this long.)

Soi Fon's Cooperation

Fujimaru: I finally get a chance to talk to you, and we end up meeting in a place like this?

Soi Fon: In my position, I can't afford to be seen by people standing around hashing over told times.

Fujimaru: I suppose not.

Soi Fon: Hm...

Soi Fon: Frankly, I was surprised to learn you were alive and well.

Fujimaru: You've done quite well for yourself too, Captain Soi Fon.

Soi Fon: You don't have to be so formal now. It feels weird having you call me "Captain."

Fujimaru: Okey, Soi Fon...

Soi Fon: It's been more then a hundred years since I took over for Lady Yoruichi.

Soi Fon: During that time, there hasn't been anyone who called me Soi Fon. I kind of miss it.

Fujimaru: I was glad to see that you made captain.

Fujimaru: In coming to this period of time, I've had a lot of sad experiences.

Fujimaru: Seeing you has been one of the few truely good ones.

Soi Fon: Oh, really?

Fujimaru: I'm sure Yoruichi is thrilled with you success too.

Soi Fon: Yo--! Did you just say, "Yoruichi"?

Soi Fon: How impertinent to refer tp Lady Yoruichi in that way! It's offense worthy of serious punishment!

Fujimaru: What?!

Fujimaru: She told me to call her that!

Fujimaru: Even Captain Urahara is Mr. Urahara now, so Yoruichi said I could drop the formalities!

Soi Fon: But it's just good manners to call her Ladt Yoruichi!

Fujimaru: It's worse not to respect the wishes of the person in question, isn't it?

Soi Fon: Rrr... Yes, you have a point. But it just doesn't feel right!

Fujimaru: Even though you're a captain yourself now, your admiration for Yoruichi hasn't changed.

Soi Fon: Of course not. Although I can't call her Lady Yoruichi in front of my own charges.

Soi Fon: Regardless of how I feel about her personally, she was expelled from the Soul Society.

Fujimaru: In any case, things can't be easy for you, doing the work of a commander and a captain.

Soi Fon: You're the one with the tough road ahead of you. But no matter what happens, you can count on me. Got it?

Fujimaru: But you have so much to do!

Soi Fon: I'm not so weak that I can't add more.

Soi Fon: I want to prove to you that I'm not the Soi Fon you used to know.

Fujimaru (Big Happy Grin): I understand. I know I can depend on you, Captain!

Soi Fon (Blushing): Skip the "Captain" part. For now anyway.

Fujimaru (Still has big happy grin but with yellow and red colors in the bg): Ha ha! All right, if you say so.

Fujimaru: I'm sorry! I should've called her "Lady Yoruichi" in your presence.

Soi Fon: She has an unfortunate tendency to let people address her informally.

Soi Fon: She also told you to call her "Yoruichi," didn't she?

Fujimaru: How did you know?

Soi Fon: She told me the same thing the first time I met her.

Soi Fon: But even now I still can't bring myself to call her by her first name alone.

Fujimaru: Why don't you give it a try?

Soi Fon: Don't be ridiculous! Lady Yoruichi will always be Lady Yoruichi to me!

Fujimaru: In any case, things can't be easy for you, doing the work of a commander and a captain.
