Death Note

ok my all time favorite anime and manga is Death Note and the #1 reason it's that is Ryuk X3 I think he's super funny and super cute <3

also I love this manga for it's plot I say it's one of the best there is :)

Hit me or kill me but I hate Death Note. Can't put my finger on it and I really like L's character but overall I dislike it and can't see why it's rated that high (and yes I watched all eps)

[to tell the truth I was way more into Ryuk then the plot when I first got into Death Note I had never read or watched in ep fully but because of Ryuk I did get more into it and then the plot I just like how they show more of the bad guy getting away with things and everything I do hate tho is that they killed L but they do have a novel where L lives and beats Light and before he dies well I'll tell ya inless you wanna read it to find out since you do like L

See I always thought that the best part of Death Note was that L died, and I think that it should have ended just after that. The best part of Death Note was the interaction between Light and L and their homoerotic relationship. All the tension, sexual and other, went once L died and Near was a very poor substitute.

Overall I did enjoy it, it just had a disappointing second half.

Death Note was good until L died, then it wasn't for good.

I appreciate it mainly for good plot and Light's epic Rape Faces

This was a series that I really liked. The faces that Light and some other characters just kinda creep me out. I really liked L, though I was kinda down about the series after he died. He kept things...interesting.

Yeah it was really a shame he died.

Death Note is dead to me. It died when L did.

I am an uber Deathnote-tard. I adore it! Between SoifonShihoin and myself we have all 13 manga, all of the episodes on disc, all of the movies, LA BB Murdercases and L:Change the world. I adore the concept of the bad guy thinking he will get away with his crimes, then half-assed getting away with it, then not.

I also liked the concept of Wammies House.

Death Note happens to actually be my favorite manga, I loved the story line until L died. Something about the story was just lost when he died, and I missed watching L and Light together, especially being in the same room because L always suspected he was Kira. I still liked the story afterwards with Mello, and Near....just not as much.

My problem was Mello and Near. They just weren't very well thought out in my opinion. L was just fucking awesome! That's why I appreciate Near and Mello NOT being in the live-action movies.
