| The first time I ever saw two people as a couple that wasn't canon was also, coincidently, my first yuri ship. It was my second playthrough of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time on the PS2. There are theses two chicks, Nel Zelpher and Clair Lasbard. I never really picked up on the subtext on my first playthorugh, but the sexond time, holy shit. It's so obvious. For example: | Spoiler: | | | There is one time where Nel almost dies on a mission that she wasn't ordered to go on. When she returns, Clair, who is her Commanding-officer, runs to her and hugs hugs her, saing somethig to the effect of 'I'm so glad your alright!" |
And
| Spoiler: | | | Sometimes when Nel levels up, she shouts "I did it Clair!" |
The list goes on, but thoes are some prome examples. That would be Hawkeye & Margaret from the TV show M*A*S*H. Love that pairing since I'm ~ 9 / 10 years.
Always loved their relationship - they hated & loved each other, fought with each other, laughed with each other and their relationship grew from dislike to respect, to friendship to something more ~

| My first ship would have to be... Gardane. Garnet/Zidane from FFXI.

| first pairing I guess would be Tenchi and Ryoko from the Tenchi shows (to bad the show never had him get with anyone XD) iless I missed something.. |
