The first time I ever saw two people as a couple that wasn't canon was also, coincidently, my first yuri ship.

It was my second playthrough of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time on the PS2. There are theses two chicks, Nel Zelpher and Clair Lasbard. I never really picked up on the subtext on my first playthorugh, but the sexond time, holy shit. It's so obvious. For example:

	There is one time where Nel almost dies on a mission that she wasn't ordered to go on. When she returns, Clair, who is her Commanding-officer, runs to her and hugs hugs her, saing somethig to the effect of 'I'm so glad your alright!"

And

Spoiler:
	Sometimes when Nel levels up, she shouts "I did it Clair!"

The list goes on, but thoes are some prome examples. How about you guys?

The first one I am conscious of is Xena/Gabrielle from Xena: Warrior Princess.

That would be Hawkeye & Margaret from the TV show M*A*S*H. Love that pairing since I'm ~ 9 / 10 years.

Always loved their relationship - they hated & loved each other, fought with each other, laughed with each other and their relationship grew from dislike to respect, to friendship to something more ~

My first ship would have to be... Gardane. Garnet/Zidane from FFXI.

The subtext was enough for me.

my first ship, yuri or otherwise, would have to be yorusoi cuz im lame that way. it is all my only and probably my last ship.

first pairing I guess would be Tenchi and Ryoko from the Tenchi shows (to bad the show never had him get with anyone XD) iless I missed something..

my first pairing would hafta be..... IchiRuki. i saw it as cute in a "Ichigo don't save me or i'll hate you." "Shut up i'm saving you cuz i love you" sort of way.

It would have to be........... Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, I believe...
